Memorial Ribbon, Hill Rock (Hunched)

Memorial Ribbon, Hill Rock (Hunched)

Memorial ribbon made in response to early 20th century memorial ribbons in the Whitaker Museum collection and the residency at Sheffield General Cemetery. Stone reflects drapery represented in tombstone in SGC but the drapery becomes more of a protective cape and becomes soft and more like the fabric depicted on this soft modern satin. The stone is representation of the modern  stone at the summit of Pendle Hill.
