Witch<>Wheat<>Whittle

Created during a project with the Whitaker Museum in Lancashire, an area associated with the Pendle Witch Trials of 1612 in which ten people accused of witchcraft were tried and executed, including Anne Chattox-Whittle.  The wheat depicted on the bottle represents an emblem of the Whittle name (of two arms aloft grasping a bundle of wheat) and connects the artist to her namesake
